Antique Victorian 22ct yellow gold ring set with a high relief bust cameo of finely carved amethyst depicting the Mythical Goddess Fortune.
Been tested positive for 22ct gold.

Fortuna, in Roman religion, goddess of chance or lot who became identified with the Greek Tyche; the original Italian deity was probably regarded as the bearer of prosperity and increase. As such she resembles a fertility deity, hence her association with the bounty of the soil and the fruitfulness of women.

Naim Ibrahim Attallah CBE was a Christian Palestinian-British businessman and writer. He was the publisher of Quartet Books and the owner of The Women’s Press. The Palestinian-born entrepreneur was described by The Guardian in 2000 as a “legendary adorer of beautiful women”.
Attallah was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2017 New Year Honours for services to literature and the arts.
