Georgian Mourning Miniature Ring

A fine Antique Georgian mourning ring¬†depicting an¬†urn on a plinth under a willow tree with initials “EB”. ¬†The navette gold surround has been made with fine scroll and floral engraving and to the three split shoulders and band.

The painted scene represents ¬†”Not Lost But Gone Before.‚Äù Wepping willow and urn.

The reverse of the ring is inscribed “Mrs Elizabeth Beug…..Ob. 24th Nov 1785 ¬†(Possibly reads At Sulby)
