A decadent and ornate pair of late Georgian drop earrings. Crafted in 18ct yellow gold, the scrolling wirework, fine granulation and cannetille gold work is set with foiled back amethysts and split pearls. Circa 1830.

• Tests as 18ct gold throughout
• Gross weight: 5.8 grams
• Condition: Very good condition, commensurate with age and use. The gems are original and in good order. The foiling remains intact in most places on the amethyst. It seems they may of been part of a larger suite originally.
