A fabulous antique Art Deco diamond and sapphire engagement ring set with a central sapphire surrounded by a row of twelve rose cut diamonds and a further row of sapphires, mounted in 18ct bi-colour yellow and white gold.

Condition: excellent condition

Period: ca. 1920

Material: 18ct bi-colour (yellow and white) gold

Diamond(s): 12 rose cut diamonds. We do not have the weight of the diamonds which is normal in our trade when it comes to rose cuts.

Precious stones: 30 sapphires (lab produced) (also called verneuil sapphire). The fact that these stones are lab produced has no influence on the value of this jewel. Natural rubies and lab produced sapphires were both used in this era, rather more for their effect than for their intrinsic value. and one oval sapphire (lab produced) (also called verneuil sapphire).

Hallmarks: No trace.
