An excellent example of an antique 18th century Baroque diamond set gold cross. This fine pendant is set with ten table cut rose cut diamonds and crafted from 18ct yellow gold and silver.

The cross is being sold without the chain pictured.

Condition: very good condition

Period: ca. 1730

Diamond(s): Ten table cut rose cut diamonds. We do not have the weight of the diamonds which is normal in our trade when it comes to rose cuts.
Table rose cut diamond – The diamonds are cut in a way that is called a table rose cut diamond, a way of diamond polishing typical for the 15th till 18th Century.

– All diamond weights, colour grades and clarity are approximate since stones are not removed from their mounts to preserve the integrity of the setting. The rose cuts are set on foil. This is a special technique that was used to bring the lustre of the diamonds to its best quality.
