Emma’s career in jewellery started in the year 2000 while working for a small, independent jewellers in Surrey. After a few years her yearning to learn more about antique jewellery led her to work with Johnson Walker and other respected companies in Burlington Arcade, London’s fine jewellery gallery established in 1818.
Having studied gemmology at London’s Gemmological Institute she went to advanced Gemmology in Geneva, with a special interest in coloured gem stones.
Emma has worked as a consultant and advisor on Fine jewellery and watches to a number of auction houses.
Her experience advising clients with purchases and valuations along with her familiarity with many aspects of the jewellery trade led her to create a website dedicated to fine and antique jewellery.
Emma is a registered member of the of Registered Valuers IRV.
