A stunning mid 20th century featuring a central 0.50ct sapphire with a deep, well saturated purplish blue colour, surrounded by a border of round brilliant-cut diamonds. Mounted in platinum upon 18ct yellow gold, further set with brilliant cut diamonds to the shoulders. Circa 1950.
