Antique Georgian Yellow Topaz and Emerald Navette Cluster Ring in 18ct Yellow Gold, Circa 1815
A unique Georgian 18ct yellow gold ring; showcasing an old mine-cut yellow topaz flanked top and bottom by a smaller yellow topaz, all within an emerald navette-shaped cluster surround. The stones are foiled back by the gold setting which was typical technique used of the period, used here to accentuate the yellow hues of the topaz further. Made with embellished floral motifs to the shoulders.

A couple of notable historical occurrences during 1815: The Napoleonic wars ceased after 12 years with 26 years of turbulence after the French revolution of 1789 and Jane Austen had her first book ‘Emma’ published.
