A large pair of sapphire and diamond cluster earrings, set with cushion shaped faceted sapphires, surrounded by old-cut diamonds, in platinum claw settings upon gold. Circa 1890.

Accompanied by SSEF certificate 108499, stating that the sapphires measure approximately 10.95 x 8.75 x 5.65mm and 11.00 x 8.65 x 4.65mm, have blue, medium to strong colour saturation, that the sapphires are natural, with no indication of heating and the opinion of the origin is Sri Lanka, Ceylon sapphire.
