Art Deco 5.60ct Verneuil Sapphire and 3.20ct Diamond Tank Ring

A stunning Art Deco Verneuil sapphire and old-cut diamond statement ring. The central oval royal blue Verneuil sapphire lays horizontally within a surround of old mine-cut diamonds. Set in 18ct yellow gold geometric design. Circa 1925.

  • Sapphire: approx. 5.60 carats, measuring 11.16mm x 8.98mm, lab-made sapphire
  • Diamonds (18): approx. 3.20 carat total, G/H colour with VVS/SI clarity
  • Metal: Tests as 18ct gold
  • Hallmarks: None/worn
  • Ring size: O 1/4 (UK) / 7.25 (US)
  • Head dimensions: 17mm x 16mm
  • Band width: Tapers from 14mm to 7mm
  • Gross weight: 16.2 grams
  • Condition: A couple of the diamonds have the slightest chip as part of the back history of being worn, you need a jewellers loupe to see this (i.e. seen under magnification). Otherwise in very good condition.
