Vintage Italian 1940s Retro Diamond Set Gold and Platinum Curb Link Necklace

Marvellous retro necklace constructed of 18ct yellow gold links with platinum centrepiece. The alternating brilliant-cut diamond-set links lead to a skilfully handcrafted fleur-de-lys motif studded with old-cut diamonds, making a stunning focal point the the necklace. Circa 1945.

Old cut diamonds: approx. 11.20 carat total, G colour with VVS/VS clarity (on fleur-de-lys)
Brilliant cut diamonds: 2.10 carat total, G colour with VVS clarity (on curb chain)
