Victorian Antique Garnet and Diamond Drop Earrings

A late 19th century pair of garnet drop earrings. Each pair is composed of an oval cabochon garnet which suspends a large oval garnet with rose cut diamond set to central star design. Mounted in 18ct yellow gold with twisted gold wire surrounds and gold conical tear drop. Circa 1870.
