Georgian Antique Rose Cut Diamond Plaque Ring

A stunning Georgian statement ring crafted in 18ct rose gold. The central hexagonal concave element is set with a dark green, translucent glass over which is a silver diagonal grid set with rose cut diamonds. The shank is florally engraved with hoops and scrolls.

The shank has been marked with an old mark (indistinct) possibly an old French import mark and with modern French assay marks for 18ct gold and silver (the owl and the swan).
