A vintage 18ct yellow gold wide set bracelet and large ring set with maw-sit-sit. The bracelet alternates maw-sit-sit with rectangular gold flat links set with geometric shaped animals with a striped structure. The ring is set with a square maw-sit-sit stone outlined by a thin gold border.

Maw-sit-sit is a jade-albite, originally thought to be jade it is now known to be a new mineral. Found exclusively in Burma, this vibrant green gemstone has distinctive dark green to black veins or sometimes. The name is derived from the village this gemstone was first found, in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains.
