Antique Victorian Sapphire and Diamond Snake and Dagger Brooch

An unusual Victorian brooch with a snake and dagger. The snake has a sapphire set to the head and rose cut diamonds to the body which has been entwined around a gold dagger with a sapphire and diamond set hilt. The sapphires are estimated to weigh a total of 0.75ct and all the gemstones have been silver set to 18ct gold mount.
