Antique Victorian 6.4ct Star Sapphire and Diamond Double Cluster Ring

A striking star sapphire and diamond cluster cocktail ring. The central natural oval cabochon star sapphire displays a relaxing lavender hue, surrounded by a double halo of rose-cut diamonds. Mounted in silver upon 18ct yellow gold. Circa 1880.

Star Sapphire: approx. 6.40 carats, measuring 9.97mm x 7.71mm, natural untreated with six rays due to asterism
Diamonds: approx. 1.90 carat total (by spread)
