Antique Victorian 2ct Fire Opal and Diamond Cluster Ring

A magnificent, late 19th century fire opal and diamond ring; the central 2ct round fire opal of a spectacular reddish-orange colour is surrounded by sixteen old mine-cut diamonds totalling an estimated 2.80 carats. Mounted in 18ct yellow gold. Circa 1870.

Diamonds: approx. 2.80 carat total, H/J colour and VVS/SI clarity
