Edwardian Antique Sapphire and Diamond Chequerboard Plaque Ring

A unique sapphire and diamond cluster plaque ring, set with 1.39cts of old European transitional cut diamonds set in a fine platinum top with triangular sapphires in between. Mounted in platinum to 18ct yellow gold, with engraved gallery and gold shank. Circa 1900's.
