A stunning single strand antique coral necklace, composed of graduating beads of orange-pink Momo coral ranging from 8.88mm to 15.30mm, interspersed with 18ct yellow gold disc beads. Secured with a 14ct yellow gold bead clasp.

• Momo Coral Beads: Smallest 8.88mm, largest 15.30mm, with ranging beads of 13mm, 12.5mm, 11.7mm, 11mm and 9mm between
• Gold Disc Beads (6): range from 11.93mm to 14.84mm, tests as 18ct gold, largest weighs approx. 8g
• Clasp: 8.43mm diameter, stamped 'Italy and 585' for 14ct gold
• Length: approx. 60cm, including clasp

Momo Coral originates from the tropical waters north of Taiwan and Japan. Identification features include whitish round spots or veins called soul. This may perhaps initially may seem a flaw, but is in fact a valuable feature, as it helps determine the authenticity and origin of the coral. Mono coral colours vary from medium light red to salmon/orange to reddish pink.
