Victorian Antique Cabochon Burmese Ruby and Old Cut Diamond Bracelet-come-Necklace

A rare late 19th century ruby and diamond necklace/bracelet in yellow gold, Circa 1890's.

The alternating bezel set five big oval cabochon-cut rubies and six old European cut diamonds are set to gold chain links with a solid yet flexible design. The dual-purpose jewel can be worn as a bracelet or, with the attached chain addition, as a necklace - with a clasp and lock system for additional security while wearing.

Comes in the original antique box from a German court jeweller.

Rubies: approx. 30.00 carat total, have a captivating red colour and beautiful crystal, are of Burmese origin and not heated.
Diamonds: approx. 6.00 carats total
Bracelet length: 18.3cm
Necklace length: 36.7cm
The length can be customised to be reduced or extended if required.
