Antique Victorian Floral Gold Double Locket, Circa 1870

A late 19th century 18ct yellow gold double locket pendant. The piece is composed of large oval shaped locket hand engraved with a beautiful decorative floral design. The locket opens from each side with the central panel being set with the original Victorian glass piece. Secured with a click shut fitting.

This glass would protect the photo and/or small object that sat within the locket.

Dimensions: 3.5 x 2.9cm
The frame inside would allow a photo up to 3.0 x 2.2cm
Hallmark: on the inside of each locket face 18 (for 18ct gold), with the stylized date letter p representing the year 1870
Gross weight: 25.2 grams
