An early Victorian light blue enamel and diamond serpent snake brooch in yellow gold, designed as a coiled snake, the eye have been set with rubies and suspending a pear shape cabochon opal in a delicate claw setting with blue enamel. the body with Cambridge blue enamel patterning and 15ct gold.

Tested as 15ct gold.
