Antique Georgian Marquise 18ct Gold Ring with Sepia Painting

Antique Georgian gold ring with a sepia painting depicting a lady holding a wreath over two doves. Decorated with a halo of gold balls, with a closed back setting. Circa 1780's.

Not hallmarked, but tested positive for 18ct gold.

Dedicated to two people and showing quite loving symbolism, of the dove (purity, devotion), crown / wreath (redemption) and unbroken column (eternity). Collected, these symbols portray quite a beautiful sentiment from the wearer.
