Tiffany Art Deco Diamond Sapphire Cocktail Watch

A Tiffany & Co. Art Deco sapphire and diamond cocktail watch, with a rectangular, silvered dial, with black, Art Deco, numerals, signed Tiffany & Co., with blue steel hands, in a rectangular, platinum, case. There is a row of eight, French-cut sapphires at either end of the face, surrounded by eight-cut diamonds. The mesh strap is edged with eight-cut diamonds. The shoulder strap terminals are set with rectangular step-cut sapphires, surrounded by eight-cut diamonds, in a geometric Art Deco design.

The watch is mounted in platinum, with foliate engraved sides and back, with a two part case, engraved MRS H LE BLOND, CINCINNATI, OHIO. The inside of the case is marked platinum, with a crescent and arrow mark and is numbered 45146, along with numerous service record numbers. The movement is signed C. H. Meylan, Brassus, Swiss, eighteen 18 jewels, 5 adjmts and is numbered 39951, with a crescent and arrow mark, circa 1930.
