Such an exquisite antique memorial ring that was hand crafted in the Georgian era. This Georgian ring holds a lock of plaited hair behind a glass cover. It was made at the time as a memorial piece, which was often created after a loved one had died, a lock of hair was taken and crafted into a piece of jewellery to be worn and kept safe always.
