Antique Georgian Amor Cameo and 15ct Gold Necklace, c.1820-1830
A 15ct yellow gold necklace set with fourteen sardonyx cameos with genre scenes of Amor, the God of Love. Each cameo is set in a rich Georgian mount with fine spirals (cannetille) and granules (grainti), a double textured chain links the last cameos to the clasp.
