Antique Art Deco Diamond and High Domed Cabochon Sapphire Ring

A spectacular antique Art Deco diamond and high domed cabochon sapphire ring, circa 1920. The 2.10ct high domed cabochon cut sapphire encircled by 42 rose cut diamonds on an 18ct yellow gold band.

Condition: very good condition

Period: ca. 1920

Material: Two tones of precious metal, the main part being 18ct yellow gold and the white parts are either white gold or platinum. (touchstone tested)

Diamonds: 42 rose cut diamonds. We do not have the weight of the diamonds which is normal in our trade when it comes to rose cuts.

Precious stones: One cabochon sapphire with an estimated weight of 2.10ct.

All colour stone weights are approximate since stones are not removed from their mounts to preserve the integrity of the setting.
It is a very common practice to treat gemstones to intensify their clarity or colour. The item in question has not been tested in this regard.
