A fine example of an antique 17th Century Baroque diamond set gold ring. The ring is beautifully crafted from high crat yellow gold and set with seven foil backed, table cut rose cut diamonds. Circa 1680.

Condition: very good condition

Period: ca. 1680

Material: high carat, 18ct or higher, yellow gold (touchstone tested)

Technique: The rose cuts are set on foil. This is a special technique that was used to bring the lustre of the diamonds to their best quality.

Diamond(s): Seven table cut rose cut diamonds. We do not have the weight of the diamonds which is normal in our trade when it comes to rose cuts.

Hallmarks: Obvious readable hallmarks but we couldn’t determine from where they are originated
