An 18ct yellow gold French bombe ring centring an oval unheated ruby surrounded by pave-set round brilliant cut diamonds.

• The natural, untreated ruby is estimated to weigh 1.60 carats, and we believe it to have come from Madagascar.
• The 58 diamonds have a total estimated weight of 4.10 carats and are bright and lively.
• The shank of the ring is stamped with the eagle’s head poinçon for 18ct gold and French manufacture, with the maker’s mark Ste D for Dupeguy of Paris.
